Navegando

Terms

Draft: effective date to be confirmed.

These terms cover Navegando Cloud, the paid sync service at navegando.dev. The navegando tool itself is open source under the Apache-2.0 license, and that license covers it.

The service

Navegando Cloud keeps copies of your Navegando projects on our servers so you can sync them between your machines. It's run by one developer, Bruno Carvalho, Canada.

Your account

You sign in with GitHub or Google. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including on every machine you connect with navegando login. Only enter a sign-in code from your own terminal.

Paying and cancelling

Cloud sync is a subscription at the price shown before you pay. Stripe takes the payment and renews it each period until you cancel. Cancel any time from Manage billing on your account page. Sync stays on until the end of the period you paid for. We don't refund partial periods. If we change the price, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service to store or share anything illegal, to break into it or other people's accounts, or to put a load on it that harms other users. We may suspend an account that does, and we'll tell you why.

Your data

Your projects are yours. We only use them to run the service. You can download everything, delete a cloud copy, or delete your account from your account page. What we keep and for how long is in the privacy policy.

Availability

We work to keep the service up, but there's no guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. Your files stay on your own machines, so keep them in git as you would any code.

Liability

The service is provided as is. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid in the last 12 months.

Changes

We may change these terms. For changes that matter, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days ahead. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply. You can cancel and delete your account instead.

Law

Draft: these terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and of Canada that apply there.
